Aura Ultra Filter Point-of Entry filters uses the most advanced US Technology Ultrafiltration Membrane System (using hollow capillary fibre).
Ultra filtration is a form of membrane filtration which uses thin layer of material capable of separating substances when a pressure is applied across the membrane.
UltraPure UF Filter works by passing pressured water (usually 1.5 to 3.5 Bar) through a thin membrane in the form of capillary or hollow strand made of polymer such as Polyacrylonitrile (PAN), Polysulfone (PS), Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Carboxylated PVC, etc.
Organic and other contaminants are retained on the high pressured side and frequently must be removed by reversing the flow and flushing the waste. Periodic flushing and backflushing is necessary to maintain the membrane.
Membrane filtration are increasingly employed for removal of bacteria and other microorganisms, particulate material and natural organic material, which can impart color, tastes and odors to water. Aura Ultra Filter uses membrane of 0.01 Micron which are able to filter off most contamination in the water.
Aura Ultra Filter membrane assemblies are contained in pressure vessels or cartridges made of highest quality stainless steel.
